Shakespeare School's Festival

Each year, pupils in KS2 have the opportunity to take part in the Shakespeare Schools Festival - performing an abridged version of a play in a professional theatre. Pupils can audition for a number of roles including acting, narrating, sound and lighting accompanying as musicians. Pupils work together as a cast to bring a 30-minute version of a Shakespeare play to life for a paying audience! Pupils from Belle Vue normally perform in The Theatre by the Lake in Keswick. 

 

We are proud to have been awarded 'Gold' status by the Shakespeare Schools Festival last year for our participation in the festival over the last 7 years.
