Hello Year 2!
We hope you are all ok and continuing to cope well with your distance learning. We would like to say a big thank you for all your photographs and hard work this week, we were particularly impressed with the super science we saw. Well done everyone!
As you will have seen in the most recent newsletter, on Tuesday 7th July, at 1pm for 2DC and 2pm for 2AR (weather dependent), there will be an opportunity for you to come onto the school grounds for an outdoor assembly with us all. How exciting! We can't wait to see you all again. There will be a welcome from Mr Cairns and Mr Shenton followed by an activity with your class. It will be so lovely to see you all. Fingers crossed we can all attend!
Please find below your home learning for this week. As usual, any questions regarding any of what is set out below, please don't hesitate to contact one of the year 2 team.

Hello year 2!
Once again we would like to say a huge well done and thank you to all those children engaging with their home learning, whether this is at home or in school in the hub. We are aware it is not easy to keep the momentum going but please know we are really proud of all your efforts and appreciate your continuing hard work. We love receiving your photos and emails, they really do brighten our day, so keep them coming!
As you may already know, we currently have lots of different 'bubbles' of learning happening in school. Mrs Reed, Mrs Cannon and Mrs Nunn are all very busy working in the Hub bubble, and Mrs Harrison is working with our Reception children in their bubble. This means that although we will continue to set your home learning we won't be replying directly to your emails, Mrs Allen and Mrs Doyle will continue to do this on our behalf. We do still get to see them however, and we will continue to pop all your wonderful photographs on our class page.
Please find below all of your activities for your home learning this week. We hope you enjoy it all ,and don't forget to keep an eye out for some more updates on our beautiful butterflies!
Take care and stay safe.
Your year 2 team xxxx

Quick update Maths White Rose Home learning!
I uploaded the learning on Friday evening ready for this week and since then White Rose have popped some extra bits on the page I gave you the link for. Just to clarify you should start with Week 1 and the 5 lessons in turn which are about finding parts of a whole and will recap fraction work we've done previously. If your child is confident with those activities you could move onto the new ones set by White Rose which are headed Summer Term week 1 wc 20th April 2020. These move to finding 3/4 and counting in fractions and some measure learning. As always enjoy learning with your child and complete what suits you and your family.
Thank you
Mrs Cannon
Good Morning Mums, Dads, boys and girls! Hope you all had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed the sunshine. Please see this week's learning. Keep all your other skills improving too with handwriting and spelling and dazzle your parents with how wonderful you are. If you have any questions, please email them to year2@bellevue.cumbria.sch.uk and we'll endeavour to help as much as we can virtually. This is the same address for sending all your super learning to as well, as myself and Mrs Reed can both access this account.
Its lovely to be back teaching if all be it a little bit different than normal and I can't wait to be reminded how amazing you all are. I was impressed with all the super Peter Rabbit character profiles.- Mrs Cannon!
