At Belle Vue we see residentials as a vital part of our school curriculum. These experiences give pupils the chance to sleep away from home; to learn away from school and to experiences locations which are different to Carlisle.
Pupils have the opportunity to take part in three residentials in their time in Belle Vue. In Year 4 pupils visit the city of York for one night; this is linked to their topic on the Vikings and Anglo Saxons. In Year 5, pupils have the opportunity to spend two nights away from home on an outward bound residential. Finally, linked to their topic on London, Year 6 have the chance to visit our capital city.
