A heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who helped to make our 50th Celebration such a fantastic occasion!
Firstly, the pupils and staff deserve a special mention for so many reasons. The quality of the pupils' learning about the five decades was exceptional and the fantastic work produced was there for all of our guests to enjoy. The pupils shared their learning in a special assembly on the day too. The team rose to the occasion and we all felt so proud of the school.
We took some aerial '50th' photographs for posterity in the morning, and the School Council were joined by our special guests during the afternoon to plant five trees within the grounds. Many who come to the site during spring comment upon the blossom on the trees. We chose cherry and apple blossom trees to plant to add to this, and we hope that the planting of the five trees will be something that others can enjoy for the next 50 years. Similarly, all pupils will be planting bulbs in the school grounds which we can enjoy each year from this point forth.
Thank you to the Friends of Belle Vue Primary School for the commemorative keyring for all pupils to keep.
Finally, thank you to you, our Belle Vue Community - parents, pupils, Governors and staff, past and present, who were able to visit school that evening to share our pupils learning, to look through memorabilia, and to chat with old friends and reminisce about the special place that Belle Vue School has within your lives.
You all helped to make our School's 50th Celebration a special one. Thank you!
